Sharesight is a powerful portfolio tracking software that lets investors manage their investments in one place with award-winning performance, dividend tracking and tax reporting.
Building on the momentum of International Women’s Day and to position Sharesight as a champion of investment literacy and women’s empowerment, the goal was to execute a month-long 'women in investing' video campaign series to boost awareness and empower female investors.
Although gender diversity in investing is gaining recognition, and despite the increase in female investors, many women lack financial awareness.
The Sharesight team wanted to showcase real women and their personal investing stories, and their experience with Sharesight, to enrich and motivate like-minded individuals through powerful videography.
We worked with the Sharesight team to create a collection of three dynamic and personal story videos, each one brilliantly showcasing a female investor as part of the Sharesight International Women's Day campaign.
The videos would feature a unique narrative for each woman, crafted from candid and authentic interview-led footage and detailing each woman's personal investing journey and their experience with Sharesight.
Personality-driven visuals and supplied photographs highlight key parts of each woman's story and create a deeper emotional connection for the audience. Whilst each story would be purposefully produced to bring a sense of individuality to each woman her story, the suite of videos would also have a consistent aesthetic and align as a powerful campaign of content.
It was also important that they be designed to support and elevate Sharesight's wider IWD campaign, and be versatile for use across multiple digital platforms including EDM's, socials, and web.
Overall, the final video suite would be polished, engaging and personable to effectively connect with prospective women investors and to ultimately empower women to take the next step!
We filmed in a studio using a multi-camera set-up to create a "behind-the-scenes" style for the content and to visually support the relaxed and candid nature of the personal stories.
Projection was also utilised to add visual texture and to ensure the content was contemporary and a reflection of a forward-thinking, professional brand.
On set, our Safe Storytelling approach was utilised to keep the subjects feeling comfortable, relaxed, and safe to share their story. Careful planning during pre-production ensured the crew were able to capture the content while maintaining a healthy on-set environment for everyone involved.
Photos and images of each speaker at various stages of their life were projected in front of them throughout each story. These images elevated the narrative and supported the speaker in embodying their story and connecting emotionally to their past self.
The content was edited into multiple video assets including a hero video and shorter edits that could be multi-purposed and used across digital surfaces.
Raise discovered that the videos have invaluable impact when they use it at an event or show it in a presentation to a new prospect corporate.
The video creates emotion and stops people in their tracks, increasing their new mentor sign ups and donor support as they witness the monumental difference a mentor can have on a young person.
Julie, Prashant, and the Sharesight team were great co-collaborators on this content series. They've built a strong brand and they have a great grasp on how to use video in multi-channel social campaigns. They were able to expertly leverage these videos and photos to create blog posts on their website, LinkedIn content where they saw great engagement from their target audience, email-direct-marketing campaigns and a suite of social content.
The content remains a valuable asset, providing reshare options or expansions on the series in the years to come.
